The person speaking at 49:00 mentions "authoritarian democracies." But autocracies are societies under minority-rule, and democracies are majority-rule. Can a society of democracy FEEL like a society of autocracy? Sure, to some people it can. But America IS NOT now, and has NEVER been a Democracy. And the phrase "authoritarian democracy" is as oxymoronic as the phrase "democratic capitalism" -- trying to be "succinct" doesn't translate to "accuracy" when it comes to making a critical point. Either way, America is a sh!thole.
