@animalfarm7467 The world awaits, with bated breath, for the blessed abundance of your impending contributions, Rev. Dr. Animal Farm -- thou definer of righteousness, ye granter of grace -- Professor Boss-man, sir. We're not worthy. 🙌 🙄
List some names for the rest of us to look up, besides your own, and stfu.
Oh, and I don't vote, because the only choices are wealthy-class addicts and working-class class-traitors, both in the form of Conservative right-wing Liberal Republicans, Conservative right-wing Liberal Democrats, and nutcase Libertarians. 🤮

@animalfarm7467 Come on. It's hard to take you seriously.
First, you imply that you read the definitive rebuke of the American brand of Liberal-Conservativitism/Conservative-Liberalism, to which all post-WW2 POTUS's -- from Truman to Nixon, Reagen to Clinton, and Bush to Trump to Biden -- have adhered.
Second, you claim to agree with the rebuke.
Third, you even took the time to copy and paste the rebuke.
And then, you ask if the author -- whose rebuke of Clinton's Conservative-Liberalism/Liberal-Conservatism you claim to agree with -- is a Clinton-Liberal?
I don't bet that a one-word answer would shut you up.
As for Goodman. She, like King, has extensive archives of the work she's contributed. It shows a childish naivete or lack of critical thinking skills to imply that Goodman hasn't received threats similar to those delivered to King. (I've had my life threatened several times by right-wingers in the past few years, and I'm a nobody. So I'm sure Goodman has too, and from more sources than I.)
Goodman doesn't need me to defend her, and I don't need to justify my accounting of her on my list to you. But, I'll give you a logical progression that might explain why Goodman isn't what you want her to be.
1a) King does his thing.
2a) King gets told by 3-letter agencies.
3a) King DOESN'T obey.
4a) King DOES get rolled for doing his thing.
1b) Amy does her thing.
2b) Amy gets told by 3-letter agencies.
3b) Amy DOES obey.
4b) Amy DOESN'T get rolled and lives on to do as much of her thing as she's able.
5) You (a) celebrate King in his death while you fear your own, and you (b) curse Amy's life while you waste your own.
It seems like a pretty clear case of prioritizing self-preservation, which I find to be a prominent common trait among folks who don't share the same faith, nor level thereof, that King had. I won't fault her for that. Nor will I exclude the high quality of her past work just because I don't know her motives behind the reasoning for her more recent work.
We all have blood on our hands. Some by a commission and some by omission. Some by complacency and apathy, and some by reservation and preservation. There is a song called 'Getting Old' by Satsang. Some of the lyrics go, "But if there's blood on my hands, then can I still preach" -- I say yes.
Even if Goodman isn't what you want her to be, she can still contribute value. Just because she isn't contributing the way you want her to, that doesn't mean that she is no longer valuable.
Frankly, your previous engagements make it seem like you're not interested in any probable reality other than the one you've concocted in your own mind.
Further, you seem like a right-wing troll who repeatedly asks the same question as if you're trying to waste the time of better people who are against your right-wing, American Liberal-Conservative/Conservative-Liberal, authoritarianism.
You seem like the fools and knaves from the Trump Administration whom Liberal-Robert Reich wrote and spoke about some years back.
Either your comprehension skills aren't as lofty as you believe (meaning you're a fool), or your writing/acting skills are terrible (meaning you're a knave).
Whether you're a fool or a knave, Libservative or Conservibral, neither is anything to be proud of.
I never wasted ANY of my time voting for Jeffery Epstein's friends Donald Clinton and Bill Trump, and I won't waste any more of my time on you.
Good day, sir.
(Insert your response here.)
I SAID GOOD DAY.

@skeptick Hey, thanks for the compliment.
Feel free to add and/or subtract whomever you wish from the list.
It's not a copyrighted list. I don't have it published to earn a living. I'm not the arbitrator of whatever it is you're trying to arbitrate.
My point was, and remains, as follows. There are remnants of Dr. King all around us, with his semblances expressed through the lives of many.
The people listed have thrown themselves into the fires of the courts of public opinion, like King.
Some got hauled into actual courts of law, like King. Some faced the tyranny of the multi-tiered justice system, like King. Some have been thrown into the human-cages of for-profit torture, like King. All of those systems were designed by, and for the benefit of, wealthy-class white supremacists.
The people on that list have had their lives changed and some ruined by the same wealthy-class white supremacy which Dr. King fought. They have all felt the kind of heat that one doesn't feel simply sitting behind a keyboard.
I'm able to admit that I am imperfect, as the people on the list are imperfect, as Dr. King was imperfect. I am not infallible, nor are the people on the list infallible, nor was Dr. King infallible. And neither are you.
But I can admit, ALL of those people have been better examples than I have been able to be. Even though I do what I am able, most of what I contribute is direct to my family or to those who read the words I write from behind the comfort of my keyboard.
If you want to subtract AOC's name from the list, that's your prerogative. Go for it. Her rhetoric has flattened. My rhetoric would probably follow suit if I received as many credible threats against my life as she has.
I've only had my life threatened a handful of times. I've still got some conviction in my rhetoric, but that's probably due to my lack of prioritizing self-preservation. I suppose that's one thing I have in common with Dr. King. But don't fret; I won't add my name to the list.
By you and Funny Farm's standards, Dr. King's family probably wouldn't be on the list either -- how dare his teenage granddaughter not speak to the extent that the state threatened her life like her grandfather.
Like, of course AOC and Amy Goodman aren't Dr. King -- fucking physics and my own two eyes can explain that. Both AOC and Goodman receive threats in perpetuity; Goodman for decades and AOC for years. What do you want to do, force them? It seems to me you'd rather do that than contribute anything of actual value.
I only wonder, WHO THE FUCK IS ON YOUR LIST? YOURSELF?
While you suckle at the teet of the dead -- and my critique of you is in no way a critique of King -- I'm going to continue adding to the list, trying my best to identify coalitions among the living who are carrying on King's legacy of bringing people together from all walks of life.
I'll add Mumia Abu Jamal, Leonard Peltier, and Ed Poindexter.
I'll add Elie Mystal, Adrienne Lawrence, Jayar Jackson.
I'll add Gerald Horne and Adolf Reed Jr.
I'll add Jordan Chariton, Katie Halper, and Matt Taibbi. Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden, and Reality Winner. Daniel Hale, Daniel Ellsberg, and John Kiriakou.
And if some of those people stumble -- if they choose self-preservation over public glorification and vilification -- I'm still capable of seeing the good they did when they had the platform. They still deserve to be on the list for the work they did that was greater than the work I, and likely you, have contributed.
You subtract whoever doesn't live up to your standards.
I've admittedly contributed less than any of the people on the list. You and Animal-clown Farm-circus have contributed even less than that in this thread.
If you don't have any names to add to the list, that's ok. If you can't contribute any names for others to aspire or look up to (besides King WHO 'S FUCKING DEAD NOW), that's ok, too. I understand. There are many like you.
You moderate-liberals are the hindering bane King spoke about -- too ignorant to contribute, too comfortable to contribute, but plenty comfortable complaining that you didn't get any jelly with your peanut butter.
If one person inspires millions as King and others did, THEY END UP DEAD. But if millions, inspired together, stand in solidarity, they can achieve the equity and equality toward which King aspired.
If we're ever going to "strike fear in the establishment," the people on the list, you, Animal-shite Farm, me, and everyone else, are going to have to learn to live with a lot less than pb&j, because the establishment will burn it all down and sneak out the back door before they give up their power.
They'll just go somewhere else and colonize it. It's already happening -- been happening for decades.
Adult-sized wealthy-class children are the addicts responsible for the majority of the world's ills, and adult-sized working-class children are the addicts who help them to perpetuate those ills.
Damn, solidarity-stifled, wannabe-rulers -- you're nearly as insufferable as the working-class, right-wing, class-traitor trolls, trying to take up the time of better people doing better work.
If all you want to do is bitch and moan and complain about other people who are trying or have tried, then pretty please, with a fucking cherry on top, keep it to yourself, mind your fucking business, and STFU.
Got people out here, fucking, wasting their time on your ignorant-asses, you fucking hanger-oners and dragger-downers...
But, hey!!! Thanks again, for the quasi-compliment and underhanded criticism!!! 😃
