  1. I think Indonesia did the right thing. They would have offended one side regardless what they would have done, and we shouldn't forget that Indonesia has it's own national interest to think of as well. I think they did a good move by inviting Ukraine which isn't an actual part of the G20

  2. Let's be honest whatever Indonesia would have decided to do, they would have pissed of someone. With inviting Zelensky as well (his country is not part of the G20) they actually made a great move without picking a side.

  7. Indonesia is in an impossible situation though. If they would have barred Putin from participating, they antagonize China and Russia and by letting him participate they piss off the West. Either way someone would have been offended by Indonesia's decision. So I think it is a diplomatically genius move to invite Zelensky. As this is kinda the threading the middle ground.

Nor will you get killed for it. Most of the Ukrainians that your country is killing as well as those fighting against your country are Russian speaking. Yes Russian lost its special status and Ukrainian is promoted. But that is all. This in clear contrast to the Russian policies in Ukraine under Alexander III during which even giving your child a Ukrainian name was forbidden by law. Also media literally show that the celebration were largely ignored. Stop believing all the Russian propaganda. Start thinking for yourself please.

  15. No, as he is a reigning head of state. Heads of states can't be arrested for persecution by the ICJ. Imagine though if there would he a coup when he is away you'll suddenly see countries all competing who will arrest him first lmao. But in all seriousness, there is more chance of him getting assassinated (and this chance is not 0 but very close to 0) than that he'll get arrested and legally prosecuted.

  16.  @Google_Does_Evil_Now  money and the fact that Switzerland is a country that is not worth taking considering the cost it would bring both actually military as well as diplomatically because well.. you'd be invading Switzerland. The cost far outweighs any potential gains made from taking Switzerland.
