  4. One more reason to get rid of all dealers. Buy your car online have it delivered to your door. How many people need a salesman to " tell you about a car". Research your cars, watch videos ....Only reason I needed a dealer to buy my recent car was test drive and to fill out the paperwork for the manufacturer. A simple manufacturer customer service outlet is all that's required, just like Tesla.

  12. meh today's cars , drive on a couple pieces of wood. 10 mm socket for the plastic cover panel oil filter wrench for your car and a funnel and a 16 mm for the drain plug, plastic basin for oil. It's about 50 bucks worth of stuff that will last forever

  13. Even if it's under warranty you don't need to have it serviced by a dealer..You just have to prove it was serviced. You can do it yourself , keep the invoices/receipts and record every thing on a Carfax account.

  17. standard oil change shouldn't charge hourly labour rate. Turning a wrench is not a skilled operation. They pay the unskilled shop workers to do it .

  20. I have a 23 Rav 4 Ltd Hybrid..got it in May. I have changed the oil 2x . Cost me 45 bucks CANADIAN or less than 35 USD. I bought 5quarts of Mobile 0w16 at Walmart for 36 bucks CDN 😂 and I still got the filter and gasket from the dealer for 9 bucks CDN. I will never bring my car to a dealer for service. Imagine paying 159USD for an oil change???? Someone should be arrested. Toyota should put that dealership out of business.

  26. Owned a Honda Element for 18 years. Dealers were terrible. I went to 3 different dealers just for recalls and a few warranty items. Terrible service.
