The man who coined the word transphobia, Davina Ann Gabriel is the way you can find his final letter, spent a lifetime invading women's spaces then lived a miserable existence before disavowing trans ideology and ending it all. For some reason the rewrite of Stonewall to where trans women did it all while not being there didn't include him in the new approved version.

@Phoneybeetlemaniacxs The original judge literally claimed that in a modern democracy her beliefs (that sex is real) aren't ones you can hold. Remember she won the court case in the end. She is the victim of discrimination. Those are the facts. If she hadn't have won then employers could have fired ppl for not holding the same gender beliefs. That could affect anyone regardless of what they believed (ie trans ideologues too). BTW the best arguments you have is guilty by adjacency. It's a terrible terrible argument. Might as well say vegetarians are Nazis for how stupid it is. The reason why we need organizations like sex matters is because if not we get victims of sexual violence like happened repeatedly in Scottish prisons and we get the travesty of affirmative care on children with surgeries on girls as young as 12.

False. She didn't go out of her way not to validate trans ppl. She simply didn't go out of her way to validate them. She also literally said she'd use pronouns. Trans is a social identity. You don't have to follow the same gender belief any more than you would have to follow a religious belief. You clearly didn't even watch the video. You got angry because you wanted to feel outrage. You should be outraged that women's and children's rights are being stripped from them for any male that self-ids

If you actually test any pronoun absolutist you'll find they all draw a line in the sand somewhere even if they won't admit it. Especially if you start giving examples like Andrea Long Chu's definition of a woman as an "expectant asshole". ShE is a pullitzer prize winner. Clearly it would be offensive to not refer to HeR as an expectant asshole.

The average height of a trans woman is 5'10. Being a vulnerable person in a man's prison doesn't mean you get to go in a woman's prison and make all the women there vulnerable. They have done exactly what you said throughout the West, a case by case basis. It has resulted repeatedly in physical and sexual violence against female prisoners. For example in Scotland women's prison 7 r---s by 6 trans women in 4 years (compared to 0 by female prisoners). That's of max 20 trans women (probably 10-15) in a prison that holds 400 women, is the only Scottish women's prison and yet is about half full. There are around 15 male prisons in Scotland. We're now at levels of trans women in prison that you could by all means keep them in vulnerable wings. You can't keep all the women in a vulnerable wing for the 15 trans women to roam about. It's literally breaking their human rights but no one cares. In England and Wales we're already at the point where you could have one designated prison for trans women. The percentage of trans women prisoners who are sex offenders is 59% in the English and Welsh system (men 17% women 3%). I'll leave it up to you if you think that's a good idea. Rorschach test wings over Scotland has good stats. The idea of a trans woman prisoner being petite and feminine is probably more of a caricature than the one you produced. There is absolutely zero evidence that trans women are less dangerous than any other male in terms of crime stats. You'd also have to include other males in women's prisons if vulnerability were the basis.

@damianjblack For a hypothetical person yes. Not someone you know. And even with the hypothetical person you don't HAVE to use they, you can use she or he. "It" makes as much if not more sense as "they" but I don't know if you'd be happy to use that for someone? It is a neutral third person pronoun. Do you have a problem with the people choosing to not use pronouns and just use names? Is it a problem for you if ppl don't want to use "they" and just use the pronouns they use automatically such as he or she for that person?

@damianjblack I agree that using "it" for a human is dehumanizing. I'm not sure why you're telling me this. Go tell non-binary ppl who choose to use "it". This is a good example of why the argument that we should "respect pronouns" is flawed. What point are you trying and failing to make? Can you just make it instead of making false claims about pronouns. "They" is not more versatile than "it". They both have strict grammatical rules. Most ppl don't solely use "it" to refer to inanimate objects. There are lots of examples where you are referring to no specified subject whatsoever.

@pollyparrot9447 Unfortunately yes, I'm aware. I think these religious extremists think not responding to basic questions and just casting vague nonsensical claims means they win and are better ppl. Getting them to read something basic or interact like a normal human is a tough ask.

@damianjblack I use they for hypothetical ppl all the time. But the person I responded to said we have to use they which is untrue. You can use whichever form you prefer. That isn't actually what "it" is limited to at all. Not sure why you told me that. It has far more uses than you claim. I know how to speak English but you seem a bit confused about pronouns. But if you have a problem with ppl using "it" for themselves feel free to go tell them. It's barely different from using "they" however which also has connotations when used for a person which the speaker might not wish to express.

In terms of religion we don't force everyone to be vegetarian because a few might have a religious belief. And frankly no, not all schools have an option for Hindu, Muslim or Jewish children. No one validates their beliefs. It's literally impossible to simultaneously validate the beliefs of Muslims Hindus and Jews at the same time. Allowing someone to wear jewellery is not validation. If what you term as validation is allowing you to wear clothing then don't worry Forstater has validated everyone. She used pronouns in terms of sex not gender. You can't "literally" misgender someone, that's an oxymoron. No one can climb inside your head and poke around to see if you believe your own gender identity. What we can be sure of is your sex. Saying a trans woman is a man is literally true in terms of sex. Saying someone is male or female is very important when it comes to prisons, sports, r--- crisis centres etc. Gender is only really important to that particular individual and nit to the vast majority of us. To what extent do you take using preferred pronouns? In all likelihood you just have a different line in the sand. Do you use neopronouns? Do you use preferred pronouns for ppl who claim womanhood after being picked up the police?

She doesn't appear to have an issue with ppl being treated however until it comes to legal matters. So she would be fine until they cross important lines like single-sex spaces would be my impression.

@connor5669 Are you unaware that the homophobic and sexist views plus the tactics of threatening women with sexual violence used by trans ideologues are common amongst Islamic terrorists? The vast majority of ppl attacked by trans ideologues in the UK are left-leaning. Not that that matters because these are bipartisan issues. The vast majority of ppl disagree with males in women's sport, prisons, r--- crisis centres. The vast majority of ppl disagree with affirmative care on children. The vast majority of the evidence also goes this way. If your opinion is right=bad while attacking a woman who was a victim of discrimination then you're the bigot. No one else thinks in such a blind black and white way.

@Ambyli You're basically showing you're ignorant about the purpose of female spaces. They are supported by over 200 years of data and keep women and children safe by keeping males out. Letting any man in destroys the whole point and by definition makes them less safe. Your argument makes as much sense as any man being able to walk in and say, well I'm not a predator! Also statistically, if you believe a woman is someone who identifies as a woman and that belief can't be questioned, trans women are more dangerous than average males. There's absolutely zero evidence to show trans women have a level of criminality at the level of females and a whole lot to say they have at least as much as any other male. I also find it odd how often you guys say "nobody is/says" are you truly that naive or just not paying attention or what. I get told this about ppl denying sex. "Gender euphoria" is used by the trans community all the time despite its lack of basis in reality.

You've outdone yourself. What's wrong with trans affirming care is that for a start we shouldn't me medically affirming transness. I think you made a Freudian slip. Affirmative care in theory is for treating gender dysphoria. Most kids with gender dysphoria grow up non-trans, a fundamental pillar of affirmative care is this accepted fact. The systematic reviews of evidence in multiple countries show that the evidence base is poor or non-existent and that the results are negative neutral or unknown. Every place that did a systematic review rolled back affirmative care. Trans activists are trying to remove the psychological evaluation under the guise of "conversion therapy". If we look at whistleblowers at the Tavistock or with Jamie Reed we can see medical intervention occurring very early, often after a handful of appointments. There is no justification for surgeries on 12 yr old girls. Trans is a social identity. Trans is not gender dysphoria. If it's some innate state then it needs no medical intervention. "My side" is 90% of the centre you daft twonk. Normal ppl don't agree with surgery on healthy tissue on children or males in female spaces. It's framed as an issue for women and children because it is clearly a massive issue for women and children. Telling me to grow with your laughable arguments is rich. You think in black and white.

@racheld7528 If it interests you then you can look up an interview with Helen Joyce and Peter Tatchell. They have a trans woman on there (Freda?). There's also an interview at a university with Kathleen Stock and an English professor trans woman. (if anyone remembers the names of ppl or the location that would be helpful) That's the best I know of the trans ideologues standing up and defending their arguments. They might do it against a Matt Walsh character but generally they don't dare do it against a leftist lesbian or a statistician or a health professional. I think they often don't actually have full faith in their arguments but they also know it's heresy to disagree with even one part of it. I'd like to know what you think of the above debates. If I try to strongman the "pro-trans" side (it seems to work against their interests for me) then.... Well... I started writing this sentence and stared at my phone blankly trying to think of something positive to say..... Otherwise I would suggest looking up someone like Sara Higdon. A trans woman on the right but who regularly deals with the actual legislation I find in a very fair way.

@bookie5667 It's because frankly almost every day there is a story like that parents could go to jail for 7 years if they don't transition their kid, a book for 5 yr olds with "top-surgery" scars, a pdf file trans woman who the bbc don't dare say is male or trans, a study showing how many of the kids are now identifying, a r--- crisis centre where women don't feel safe, a prison monster housed with women, parents being told dead kid or trans kid, schools providing binders and not telling parents, schools discussing sex toys with children, males winning athletic scholarships to college for winning female events, a famous actress saying she's a man because she's attracted to women, thousands of kids starting hormones, details of osteoporosis coming out, Wpath pushing the gender identity of eunuch, children kicked out of school for not accepting a kid is a cat, a hate crime law that means anyone can ruin another person's life with no due process, shocking new findings of how few appointments kids have before blockers, hormones and surgery, women having the right to a female doctor in cases of SA etc. I could go on and on and on. It is affecting women, children and free speech everywhere in the West. That's why it's reported. Thousands of kids being medicalised should be a much bigger scandal than it is frankly.

1 She's clearly and explicitly for trans ppl having the right to not be discriminated against. Despite what your echo chamber is telling you trans ppl are not being killed in great numbers. Statistically it's less than non-trans ppl and largely young male sex workers. The number of trans ppl murdered in the UK each year is either 0 or 1. The number murdered for being trans is 0. The "Healthcare" you're talking about isn't for trans ppl. It's for gender dysphoric people. And multiple systematic reviews including in the UK have rolled back affirmative care because frankly it's unscientific and has poor results. Thinking trans ppl, which is a social identity, need medication is transphobic. Otherwise most gender dysphoric kids grow up to be non-trans and post-op trans ppl have very poor outcomes. These are fundamental pillars of the affirmative care model let alone the exploratory care one which is far far more successful at dealing with gender dysphoria. 2 You're referencing the intersex gambit. "Intersex ppl" are males and females with DSD conditions. They don't generally identify as intersex in the way someone with a smaller heart isn't a small heart person. The likelihood of a trans person having a DSD condition is around 0.02%.
