  1. Help is on the way. I live in Louisiana, west of the area's that were hit. I've been watching vehicles with gas, water, food and heavy equipment heading that way all day.

  4. This is such good news. It feels like a thousand pounds was just lifted off of my shoulders and the safety of not only myself, but of every women and girl in Louisiana is at least temporarily secured. Thank you!

  5. This has been going on for years. When I was living in Covington about 5 years ago, the city knew the water was contaminated that December and didn't bother to send out a notice until April. I believe it was going on before December as myself and many of my neighbors were having the same symptoms. Severe GI issues. For much of that time we thought we were all getting the same stomach virus over and over again. After receiving the notice and realizing how long it took to notify us, I did contact a few attorneys on behalf of myself and my neighbors. One said he would take the case and then later contacted me saying that he was hired by the city for another "project" and it would be a conflict of interest to represent us. My response was that it was never about getting compensated for medical costs or pain and suffering. It was about sending the city a very loud and clear message, "Clean up your act or you're going to get sued". Apparently, the Parish didn't get the memo. One of the reasons I ended up moving away was because of the poop water, literally.

  7. I couldn't agree more. He's a sneaky snake in the grass and has padded his pockets for far too long. Unfortunately Mr. Chambers didn't have the money to run a strong campaign against him.

  9. No kidding Aspen. I've seen the same trend everywhere and comments that are unbelievably crude, obnoxious and demeaning of women and girls.

  11. I'm hearing reports from people who are kept on hold for hours to get through to FEMA and then hung up on. Where is FEMA? Why aren't we seeing FEMA sites set up with food and water distribution? What is going on? People without power are waiting on hold and then hung up on. This is not OK!! FEMA needs to step it up, set up sites for people who need to apply for assistance and get what they need.

  13. This sneaky snake in the grass was one of the Moscow 11 who went to Russia on the 4th of July before the 2020 election. He acts like a good ole Louisiana guy, yet has a Ivy league education. He has been able to keep a low profile, but was right in the middle of election deniers and spelled out early after the 2020 election exactly how blocking the peaceful transfer of power was to be accomplished, up to and including what happened on Jan 6th. This was in an e-mail that mysteriously disappeared from my gmail account in response to my concern soon after the election, to trump blocking the Biden administration's access that could pose Homeland security issues. I'm a veteran, a Christian and I don't lie.
