  1. Families are sheltering in the schools. They have endured forced displacement and the destruction of their homes. They have no where else to go and are trapped in a war zone. No one in or out of Gaza without Israeli authority permission. This includes seriously injured children whom aid organizations are and have been working to get them out and to medical facilities who are able and have offered treatment for them. Thousands have been waiting, I'm sure hundreds if not thousands have died who were approved, but the Israeli authorities kept delaying them, until it was too late.
