@WorshipinIdols Gneisenau with 15 inch guns vs Jean Bart I have to say Jean Bart will have more chances of winning - For one Jean Bart has thicker armor and better protected, she carried more guns of the same caliber, she was faster, and carried radar as well. Gneisenau even with the 15 inch guns doesn't stand that much of a chance against a fully operational Jean Bart

Scharnhorst vs Strasbourg There are many factors here but the Scharnhorst has any more chances of winning than Strasbourg - The factor that tips the balance would be armor, Scharnhorst's armor is more than capable of resisting the 13.5 inch shells from Strasbourg. Strasbourg's armor is designed to resist 11 inch shells but that was specifically catered to the Deutschlands 11 inch guns, Scharnhorst has improved 11 inch guns meaning more better penetration that could bypass Strasbourg's armor. One side can hurt the other while the other cannot hurt it, that's a win for the Scharnhorst Gneisenau with 15 inch guns vs Dunkerque Mate that is a one-sided battle in which Gneisenau will always win - Dunkerque's armor was never designed to take in 15 inch gun fire, and the same principle can be used here that Gneisenau's armor is more than capable of taking in 13.5 inch shells from Dunkerque

@WorshipinIdols Jean Bart when she was finished did have radar but I guess you did say as designed so I'll use Richelieu instead. The same factors can still be applied, the Richelieu had thicker armor and was better protected, had more guns of the same caliber, and was definitely much more faster, Richelieu had a top speed of 35 knots, but as designed she had no radar. Weather will play a big part of their engagement because if they fought in the North Atlantic with heavy weather then of course Scharnhorst will win with it's radar, but if we play fair and the weather is clear as day then Richelieu would still have more than a decent chance to win

@WorshipinIdols Scharnhorst-class were planned to be up gunned, but they will only have a main battery of 6 15 inch guns in 3 twin turrets as the Scharnhorsts could only fit 3 turrets with it's design

@WorshipinIdols The quad turrets on the Richelieu had a technique to not let the whole guns get knocked out, To reduce the risk of a single shell hit disabling all four guns, the turrets were divided by an internal bulkhead, and they were spaced 27 m (89 ft) apart.

@WorshipinIdols Sorry I confused the top speed of Richelieu with the highest speed achieved by the USS New Jersey which was 35.6 knots
1
@WorshipinIdols The Richelieu on sea trials achieved a top speed of 32.63 knots

You do realize that those Destroyers were only able to catch up to Scharnhorst was because DoY slowed her down?

That's kind of a one sided battle, Renown will be the one to win, for Eugen to actually use her torpedoes she have to close in to point blank range and if that actually happened then something must have gone horribly wrong

Tirpitz is technically an upgrade to the Bismarck so Tirpitz will clearly have an advantage

@timyo6288 Then maybe you should have posted your comment in Drach's pinned comment? That's where he picks questions and answer them in his drydock videos

Lexington class as battlecruisers is not a very good match against Hood, Basically the Lexington-class battlecruisers are high speed tin cans full of explosives. The Alaska-class of Large Cruisers vs the Scharnhorst-class of battleships could go either way depending on how they're used

If they actually come to a range where they could fire their torpedoes then something has already gone very wrong
