That is how propaganda works to manipulate ordinary people.

@grmpEqweer Look at it this way, health insurance companies collects monies from premiums from groups of people. It is done in order that the group pays for each others health care. These are called risk pools. They tell you that you have an individual plan which only comes out of your own pocket which is not true. A non profit national health care plan is payed for by taxes for sure which everyone pays for each others health care. Instead of many small risk pools you have a national risk pool. Since it is non profit, everyone will have health care access and will be far cheaper than for profit private health care.

Keep your original Medicare. Don't be suckered by false promises. I kept mine and I am doing fine.

@marciamartins1992 Stories to point out the disasters of for profit health care is a good idea.

@stevechance150 You got that right!

Somebody pulled the You Tube video that covered what you commented on.

@marypritchett115 Most people don't realize that with any insurance they have, everyone pays for each others use of services.

People were led to believe that their health insurance had to be employer based. People are waking to a need for a National Health Service rather than Medicare for All. This would take the entire health care system out of the market place. Health care should have never been a commodity.

@broderickblocker7106 It's a metaphor and no one is having capitalists on the dinner table. It is about stripping them of their power over society.

@hectoracevedo1994 You just earned your Honorary Aryan Badge.

@dinosaurusrex1482 Health care does not belong on the market therefore there would be no need for silly competition that really does not exist despite the claims that it does.
2
@I2AmUS You're welcome.

It cannot be done unless they make policy changes in Washington. Once you sign into a private health care plan they got you by the gonads.

And how many times have the Democrats complained about what the Republicans enact and then hardly roll them back?

@stevechance150 And Elon Musk for desert.

@Dan0948 I did check that out and you are correct. Hopefully seniors will decide to return to original Medicare. I opted to keep my Medicare and my drug costs are covered by my state. However, I am all for a National Health Service to get health care and pharmaceuticals off the market.

@broderickblocker7106 Okay, we are both Leftist. I did not mean to get you rankled over a comment I made.

@broderickblocker7106 All is good my friend.

That is what has to be done. Both political parties are a sham. Real solutions are a system change away.

It's not socialist considering we live in a capitalist society. It is something every American is entitled to.

US propaganda is one hell of a drug.
1
Yeah, before the white supremacist do.
1
We actually do need a system change. Even Abraham Lincoln wrote that if government got to be so corrupt beyond redemption, the People of the US have the right to start over from scratch.
1
Yeah, that is correct.

It is imperialism that keeps an extremely large military in place around the planet. It has nothing to do with protecting US borders. These bases on foreign soil only exist to look after the private property and profits of the wealthy elites.
1
@richardjacullo8312 Interesting to know but I have heard otherwise from those who are experts on Medicare. I will look into though. Paying higher prices after getting back on Original Medicare is downright criminal and disgusting.
1
@homerthompson416 I call Medigap creeping privatization.
1
The Constitution of the United States state that the government was to protect the private property and interests of the wealthy elites. The Constitution was more of an economic document than a political document and they use politics to beat us down with.

@BobConnor-n2g I cannot speak for the UAW. IMO, it is a direct action strategy to secure benefits from the profit makers. I am sure the union heads and most members are desiring a National Health Care System to be enacted. That would be one thing less to worry about in negotiations.
