The most important thing a child needs is love; there is an ABUNDANCE of love in this family. Uber-cutie Fei'er intuitively behaves, because she knows she is treasured + loved by her responsible parents. This family is very wise, + richer than those of some billionaire's.

That happens to poor people in every country.

@Ted Aspane mralekito is TOO JUDGEMENTAL.(esp the mental part)
2
You are the fool. They are proud + honorable parent. It is an Asian Thing to refuse charity when working hard will get them what they need. The sweet little angel is only 2 - school ??? You think toys defines childhood - WRONG ! Happy memories with loved ones, exploration, learning new skills is childhood. FYI, kids love to help their parents + it teaches them to be confident, self-sufficient adults.
2
So gorgeous that you can't take your eyes off the little angel.

For all those criticizing the Dad for taking Fei'er to work: - he + his wife strategically decided only for 9-11am, before the lunch rush - the cutie pie learn social skills when interacting with her parents' customers But Dad should get her a helmet. This little angel is more fortunate than China's left-behind kids; whose parents are forced to live far away, where the jobs are. The family is only reunited for about 2 weeks during Chinese New Year. Among these kids, (older than Fei'er), the "lucky ones" have grandparents, which is not always the case. It is not unusual in these situations, for a 13 or 14y/o to be the "head" of a family.

The parents spent their saving to treat Fei'er's pneumonia. She is such a beautiful child, a lot more precious than money.

@jamukaka8083 Both you + I are out of luck; she already has loving, dedicated parents.
2
She already is.
2
We are so "free" that some of us stormed the Capital.
2
Fei'er is more adorable; she has gorgeous eyes + a captivating smile.
2
Danke.
2
Right. Little cutie pie has already learn some lessons - cleaning her Mom's stall @ the market.

The K's are TOO GREEDY.

Don't impose your western standards on China. In the States kids are praised just for just existing, usually spoiled, entitled brats. Fei'er is loved + a well adjusted gorgeous little angel.
1
They ARE NOT in the US. Furthermore, in the US, kids are spoiled rotten; exact opposite of this adorable angel.
1
But she is not a left-behind child. Many western posters wrote that "it is wrong" for the Dad to take his sweet baby to work, but she is far luckier than the left- behind children.
1
No. The father said now he take his precious girl with him to deliver to his customers.
1
They are better behaved. Love does not always mean material goods.
1
You keep writing the same garbage, troll.

In some parts of China, Covid is controlled.
1
@Javis Piazza This family is not "resorting" to anything; neither parent is committing a crime, which is astronomical in the West You are blinded by your Western Prejudices. The little cutie pie is loved + treasured by her parents; which is reflected in her endearing smiles.
1
She already is.

SCMP is a Hong Kong Paper; I think it always communicated in English (South China Morning Post)

Asians don't take charity that easily. Little Sweet Fei'er is not isolated; she is always with 1 parent. Her Mom already is working in the market, where the sweetie helps with cleaning up. Also, the little angel is learning social skills, when interacting with Dad + Mom's customers. When she starts preschool, I would not be surprise if she is the most precocious child in her class. I highly doubt there is many adult training programs in China.

@jamesjiao Touche !

@troll2637 Absolutely correct. Also, love your name.
1
Right.
1
Your granny must be super-cute.
1
Right, like RobReptile916.
1
Correct. She knows she is loved.
1
We should all be that happy.
1
ME TOO !
1
Lucky you, or rather, lucky little sister.
1
In the US, 2 mass killings within a week.
1
Absolutely correct. Some posters think that it is regressive for the cutie. When he Dad take her out, every day is an adventure; + she meets her Mom's customers after 11am.
1
Well written !
1
The dad is actually securing Fei'er with a traditional Chinese Baby Carrier called "Mei Tai". Chinese women would work in the fields, with their baby on their back.
1
Right. Her eyes are exquisite + her smile is so gorgeous + winning.
1
@mralekito Chill, + don't be so judgemental + impose YOUR STANDARDS on another country. Dad only drives with the sweetie from 9-11am. The parents strategically have Mom take Fei'er before the busy lunch hour. The little angel is much luckier that the many "left behind children" in China.
