  1. The Japanese have always + still do, deem the "other" as less than them. The one exception is some of them are naively infatuated with whites.

  2. Those plaintiffs are correct; they are not asking to be treated like the locals, but they should not have to suffer racism. Japan is a country full of bigotry.
