The IMF frequently demands the borrowing nation enacts economic austerity, which is why both Sri Lanka and Argentina can't repaid their IMF loans.

  13.  @Adam-dd5fx  I will give give an emblematic example of how China helps Africa. In 2003 the US/west imposed crippling sanctions on Zimbabwe, to the point that the economy almost collapsed. Had China not provided financial aid, investments, diplomatic backing and extended loans and credit, the African nation would have imploded. I am sure most African nations know about this case.
