  1. "...Can kill the animals because they breed like rabbits and can overgraze, causing starvation and disease." By that logic, should killing of people in overpopulated parts of the world be permissible? After all, we're only trying to save them from starvation and disease. Or perhaps we could treat the animals better and do what we do with overpopulated and poor areas in relation to people--import food and help. I'm sure the animals would appreciate that more instead of the "mercy" killings. After all, when was the last time we "mercy" killed populations of humans?
