  1. Are those that pull down and dump statues being made to fish them out as part of their bail? I assume they are going to jail because the statues cost more than some cars. Grand theft auto (the crime, not the game) is punishable by at least one year and fines.

  2. Where were the police when protesters (rioters since destruction of property, no matter the cause) tore down the statues? Obvious video footage so where are the arrests? If no arrests, I guess I can go smash, graffiti, and tear down the state/provincial and federal capitol buildings, yeah? Govt is oppression. My activism allows me to do without punishment, right?

  5. Victors do write history and get the monuments...usually. The think is though, one of the arguments for taking down confederate statues is that they took up arms against the us. Okay, but so did washington (colonial Americans were Brits). The difference was the colonials won. So the statues would have to be replaced by winners. If going with the argument that they owned or condoned slavery, or were racist, then many founders statues would have to be removed. And Lincoln was racist too, he was paternal racist.

  6. Why pay more for an online only university? Sure, if done properly, you can get similar academic results, but the extra payment for physical universities is for the environment and venues. Should be no more than $300 per credit hour ($900 per class) if online.
