  1. All parties that believe in democracy are democratic. Taxing is an economic issue that has nothing to do with democracy. You can have a socialist economy and be democratic (remember that the US and UK did rationing, a socialist thing, during ww2 and taxed the bejeesus out of rich with 91% income tax rate until 1960s); you can have a capitalist economy with only tariffs and no internal taxation and be democratic.
