  5. Empty stadiums mean less brawls and traffic nightmares after the games. What if I told you that you could watch the games without actually going to them. It's crazy, but it's true. Behold, the television! All joking aside, I foresee more and more just watching on 8k tvs with friends. Why go through the travelling and parking nightmare, bathroom waiting, etc when you can do in the comfort of yours or your friends house. Besides, you can see the arena much easier and get running commentary.

  10. Everybody should just apologise to everybody and be better neighbours. I was always taught that even if you dont do something, act apologetically rather than shouting and accusing someone else. It makes for better friendships.

  11.  @jnfunvufb  Interesting proposal. In fairness, though, if they will be the permanent host, it would probably be a conflict of interest to also have their teams play (ie no Greek players or teams). Perhaps a UN neutral venue?

  12. Or push back the Chinese one. Push the winter Olympics to 2024, 2028, etc. Paris summer 2024 can be Paris summer 2026.

  13. And personally I think no city should repeat the Olympics (winter or summer) until every city over 100,000 has been given the opportunity. Fairness... We have 193 member nations of the UN. Of these, at least 110 compete. Instead of money driving, how about Olympic spirit? Rotate to each country in different cities. No repeats of any city until all over 100,000 population have gone (4,037); no repeat of nations until all have gone. Each year (instead of 4), one country from one of the six inhabitable continent goes. Perhaps alphabetically by continent and alphabetically by country within the continent.

  15. Just a thought, but they mentioned if they delayed the Olympics, it will look like they're cohosting. Excuse me? How about pushing all countries back? Tokyo takes the 2024 slot, Paris 2028, etc. Or switch the years of the winter Olympics. Tokyo summer oympics 2022, Beijing winter Olympics 2024, etc. Side note: didn't china last do the Olympics in 2008? Thats less than 15 years between, regardless of summer v winter. Last time tokyo did it was 1964, which I may not be good at maths but I can tell is longer than 15 years. Bias much? I say all cities over 100,000 population in every country must host Olympics or turn down before a city may repeat. Fairness
