Russians are seeing through the loophole of enlisting in the Ukrainian army to prevent mercenary status. However, from what I've heard, they're using Ukrainian military law to show that they could not have enlisted as one must be a resident for a few years first. As such, Russia and the Ukrainian separatists considers them mercenaries.

What did he do? Reagan in the 80s fired them, but what did Nixon in the 70s do?

I was going to say that yes the US pays almost half the gas price of the UK, But is more car-centric. With the strikes though, Britain will probably face LA-style traffic jams (known as the 20-lane parking lot) and the full brunt of ⛽️ prices. Sorry. Be nice if the UK could do the Japanese and Australian style of strikes where the trains run, but the striking workers refuse payment from customers. Punishing only the corporate bosses and not the customers.

@innerdumbasssystem Sky is much more balanced than Fox. The UK has standards and enforces them. 😋

38:00 What do the US, Syria, Nigeria, and Argentina have in common? They all use the failed and dictatorship-prone presidential system. The us is the only one that has not yet devolved into dictatorship at some point in its history. The problem is we treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. Change out the presidential system for a MMP 7+ party parliamentary system or collegial system (a la Switzerland) and things can get better.
