Thank you Drew This feels like a breath of fresh air as an Iranian I have been so annoyed that people don't care about Iran despite of so much culture and history but because of 40-50 years of bad government and bad US relations its shown badly in media. People talk about Egypt, Turkey and Dubai and I always think "why not Iran?" but you are giving Iran the recognition it deserves

@gzahnd like many countries

@evolutiontellsthetruth7812 I do understand that. Iran doesn't "need" it. Why does it feel like if you have ties with US and if you have international US brands you are considered modern and developed? US isn't everything in the world. but also Iran does need better ties to remove sanctions and not cause people to be in economic pressure. US is not the world. but if Iran has less sanctions, it can be better for Iranian businesses too as they have less restrictions. Iran can even make brands international. Saying no? Well Japan has so many car companies and they exist in US. I still want a government who is more friendly to countries which can reduce sanctions but also not suddenly bring so many American brands because if Iranian businesses can be more successful (without sanctions), it can increase their profit and help expand Iranian brands more. I don't want Iran looking like US. Yes, Americans may go to Dubai and see McDonald's and American brands and say "so modern wow" but Iran is a large country and still should keep the culture and expand it to the world. Maybe a few McDonald's aren't bad so Iranians experience it but with a better government, more people in the world would think positive about Iran and try to visit and experience Iran's culture and maybe some business people can see Iranian brands and take it to their own country. It has to start with a better government though. This government is so controversial.

I wish most people think like this

@emmastan785 Turkey and Iran have similarities. You are sounding like because Turkey is "European" its way better than Iran and you probably heard western media stuff. Iran and Turkey have border and there is Turkish population in Iran.

The language still exists but I guess the arabs invading caused more arabic words in the language. Also Iranian Persian has French sounding words too. It seems like the language is a mix of traditional persian, European and Arabic. Afghan Persian is more traditional. Sometimes when I hear phrases it feels like a poet is speaking

Iran :) Thanks for not listening to media

@zachg8171 ok. Does the places he show look like what it is in media? Does it look like war and protests? Also when he doesn't like an experience of country he says it like he did with Brunei and Chad. Also he wouldn't spend 2 weeks in a country he has never been to and has different language.

@РепубликаСрпска-в6у politics is dumb just enjoy the beautiful places in the world
