@tumelochana345 Because the Taliban escaped to another country where the West can't reach them. Then when the West depart because they completed their goals, the Taliban just claimed victory that they had expelled the West.

@vladimirprotein1275 Actually, it's becoming a reality. The counter-offensive is coming along just fine. After Piatikhatky, the Ukrainians are now storming Zherebianky as the Russians defense there are thin after they were ambushed by Ukraine when they conducted a counter-attack on Pyatikhatky.

@luisc.3215 The point is for Russian to stay in Bakhmut so that they can't send any of those reinforcement elsewhere. If they try to advance from Bakhmut, they will be destroyed there, that's why you don't see any advancement in Bakhmut despite claims by Pro-Russians about its "Strategic" value. Putin can't take the humiliation that Bakhmut is nothing more than a useless area with no strategic value that he would rather send more reinforcement to that area than send them to Zaporizhia where the counter-offensive is happening. And the Ukrainians are happy of this arrangement.

@JohnnyD-u7 Why is it whenever Russia is losing, they alway try to project them like "Look, the US has also lost in Afghanistan", like Bitch, you also lost in Afghanistan. The difference is you collapses after that but for the US, it's a minor inconvenience.
