@lancerevo9747 Like how Shoigu just shrug his shoulders when the reporter ask when they will be victorious?
2
The Russians will never ran out of missiles. Until they did.
1
@lancerevo9747 nowhere. But that is not your point.Your point is that you agree with OPs claim that Ukrainians defeatism by highlighting the eyes of Syrski which I then Liken to the Shrug Shoigus made signifying he is also uncertain of victory.
1
@lancerevo9747 Then I apologized that you haven't understood my argument.

@galaxymm5363 is it also normal for any general to just Shrug like they don't know what they're doing? I can understand Shoigu telling the interviewer, not to raise expectations, but to just shrug like there's nothing he can do doesn't instill greater confidence in a person but instead will demoralize them.
1
@galaxymm5363 Yes, because generals answers with confidence. They're professionals unlike Shoigu. And no, that's not my argument here, my argument is Shoigu doesn't control the situation in Ukraine to the point that he cannot give any clear answer to the reporter. The shrug is just his unprofessional way of answering "I don't know anything anymore".
1
@Samuray_nm but he never said " I do not know " he just shrug which isn't basically lying but sort like dodging the question. Because if he said that, it would out him as the most an incompetent commander and would possibly be removed, replaced or worst, relocated to the 3rd floor to meet the ground.

@galaxymm5363 In 3 years, the Russian army is still stuck in Ukraine. They lost 300K, 2K tank, a lot of air assets and their flagship. They lost 53% of their occupied territories since the war began, and couldn't even take Avdiivka since last year. That's the state of progress of the Russian army at a Macro level. I don't care what you call me, I just states facts. And gacts are perfect.
1
@Samuray_nm Yes, we can't know for sure. But experts can make predictions and most can be accurate. But are you so sure the US would stop sending aid to Ukraine? Because even if the Republicans are tying aid, there are still pledges from the US government to continue support for Ukraine.
1
@Samuray_nm Now why would the US end support for Ukraine if Ukraine is efficiently eliminating US biggest rival? Anyone would be delusional to think that the US will just end their support to Ukraine right then when Russia is suffering horrendous loses all for just 3% of the US military budget and no lost to american lives.
1
@Samuray_nm Don't worry about China, they're busy replacing their rocket fuel with water. And China is no longer the msnufacturing capital of the world, that title now belongs to India and Vietnam. And the UK EU isn't the only one picking the slacks on aid, theirs also Japan, Korea and South America as well ss countless individuals donating to the Ukrainian cause. Ukraine isn't out of aid but more likely in short supply of critical ammunitions like Patriot missiles and excalibers, both only manufactured by certain individual countries thus not a lot in terms of supplies, but will soon be addressed.
1
@galaxymm5363 Lol, are you coping that Russia lost this much in 3 years? Yes, I admit that we're still nearing the 3rd Year since the start of the Invasion, but let's not kid ourselves that Russia is going can end it this year, or the year after that. The 53% is not a prediction since Russia has already lost that much according to all military analyst. It's more of a fact at this point and your denial isn't going to change that.

The point is not for Ukraine to win but for Russia to bleed. If the West send all equipment, Ukraine wins too fast, forcing Russia to pull out its troops early without suffering too much casualties. They can try again once they learned their mistakes and are now better prepared. Also prolonging this war means more scare for the US and EU taxpayers which means more money for weapons production. This war will only end on the West nice little timetable.
