Islam has long been telling its faithful how western civilisation must be replaced by Islam because it is so ungodly and degenerate. Yet here you are telling us that Islam SAVED the very thing it demands its followers to erase. Can Islam not make its mind up? Is it confused? Is this why Mohammed never knew whether he was talking to a devil or an angel? It does seem to be sending mixed messages, doesn't it? But then, you're only the message boy and I'm sure it pays well.

Islam chained the leading Andalusian thinker, Ibn Rushd (Averroes), to the stocks outside the Grand Mosque of Cordoba because he asserted that scientific thought should not be subjected to religious (islamic) approval. That's the message Islam sent out to would-be freethinkers in the past. In recent times Islam apoligists have been falsifying history and trying to identify the ideology with ideas, which are now accepted, but which it did its best to suppress in their day. It would be like the Catholic Church today, trying to take the credit for the ideas of Bruno and Galileo. Useful idiots of the West go along with this propaganda, same as they did with the propaganda of Lenin and Stalin. 'Useful idiots' was in fact Lenin's term for them.
