Listening to the recent pronouncements emanating from both official (Russian Government) and unofficial Kremlin propaganda (Russian state controlled television), one gets the sense that even in the most hardened Russian apologist there is a feeling of dread. This disastrous conflict which Russia embarked upon last February is accomplishing nothing more than an isolation of Russia from the rest of the World, and a hollowing out of their already vastly inferior (and incredibly overrated) military. A spate of sanctions that are beginning to roil their economy, coupled with a profusely bleeding military industrial complex are going to be the flashpoint for all of their dominoes to fall. In an already fragile state due to an alarmingly declining demographic, Putins ghastly miscalculation that was fueled by an unbridled ethno- nationalism and a yearning for a return to a Superpower status, has led Russia to the brink of political collapse. This seemingly endless cycle that Russia has repeated several times throughout their history, has brought about wrenching changes in the historical geopolitical landscape each time it has transpired. In a desperate effort to prove that they were still worthy of a claim to be a major power, they have revealed themselves to be not even a regional power. Their downfall is no longer in question; it is what transpires afterwards.

  3. The Free World is with Ukraine aside from a few evil regimes who do not have freedom and human rights, just like Putin's. How many people want to move to Russia? Yet 500k military age educated and skilled men fled the country because they see no future with the Putin regime.
