@viper8177 I think Epic will lose because Apple does not have a monopolistic share of the smartphone app industry, but only has one on Apple devices. Arguing Monopoly or Monopsony is kind of hard. Also, Epic is not a very good leader for this, since it’s largely owned by the Chinese company Tencent. I don’t see a reason Congress would be kind on Epic here. Hell, Trump could announce a ban on Tencent software tomorrow and Epic would be in deep shit.

@ten_tego_teges Ok, but if everyone talks on a private space, in practice, banning someone on the private space has similar effects to banning them on the public space. Hence, an exception to private property can be made while still keeping private property rights of the company intact by arguing that private space is effectively public space. I mean, we have laws preventing discrimination by race or age on private property. No one has a problem with that (well, most people), and it’s rarely considered an issue in the context of property rights. Why not ideas, if they are being discriminated against?

@ten_tego_teges I would imagine it depends on if a private area is large and open enough to be like a public space in practicality.
