@sunspot42 Thing is that building pipelines for refined product is also difficult. In some cases, building the refinery in BC (for example) is preferred so that BC would actually benefit from the oil and gas going through their province more than just being a transit state.

@lorrainearmstrong7587 The gas or oil pipeline? The Oil pipeline to Kitimat was never approved, the gas one was, but is being sabotaged by Native Activists. The Trans-Canada pipeline is still being upgraded. Without a Vancouver refinery.
