@Luke-kv6qf you know what, it can a while!! I know. Raped at 14. Realized it was rape when I was 32 ... it's amazing how trauma can get stuffed down and confusing and self-loathing and self-blaming ... and everyone else acts like "shit happens" shrug it off ... yea, itcan take a while.

 @tomservo5007 it doesn't erase it. It freezes it and puts it somewhere "safe" because you have to save yourself.

@brianbrian9759 I'm sorry that happened to you. Assault is a horrible thing that happens more than anyone admits. Mine wasn't near as violent, so I can imagine yours being much more traumatizing. I had a friend drugged at a bar and raped violently in the bathroom and dumped in her car in the parking lot. I had another friend takenby gun point when grtting into her car broad daylight at the beach, hours of rape and beatings, I really don't know how she coped. It's far too prevalent.
