lol you missed the point entirely. He was pointing out that Tucker called Rittenhouse the 'the kind of people you want many more of in your country'. This was a noted contrast to some of Tucker's past comments about 'people you want in your country'. Such as when he said immigrants make America “poorer and dirtier” (Dec 2018), and he said they "plundered" America - "our national wealth is up for grabs by whomever gets here first, and they are coming," (May 2019). So straight away Carlson took the Rittenhouse incident and played a migration card on it lol classless. I think the observation was too nuanced for you though..

@julianelischer6961 But the final irony was that the crazy right did take it up, so they got 'fooled' too. The same thing happened with the appropriation of Pepe the frog. It's just classic trolling where they can deny both ways. So if it's taken seriously the answer is - it's just a joke! and if it's not taken seriously, it grows and becomes a way to convey extreme ideology.
