With new AI sparse architecture and new hardware including neuromorphic analogue chips, which will start becoming available in about 3 years, the power and cost will be drastically reduced. Plus this isn’t just doing a search, it’s increasing the capabilities of people by 5 or 10 times. There’s going to be a huge increase in productivity across all industries.

  3. I’ve given 100s of tech demos, usually to audiences of between 10 and 20 people, and you test and rehearse everything you’re going to do to make sure it all works correctly. Google didn’t even Google the answers it was giving them in the tech demo questions to check they were correct. If they’d just released it without a demo this wouldn’t have been an issue.

  5. You shouldn’t be, AI is driving it, and it’s going to expand at a parabolic rate. Moore’s law started the power of computer chips doubles every 18 months, so 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and this has remained true since the 50s. Because AI is iterative we have AI developing AI, which mean’s Dennis’s law which says the number of parameters and therefore power of AI is going to increase by the square of itself every 2 years, so 2, 4, 16, 256, 65 536, 4 294 967 296. So far this has remained true since 2017 and we’re just on the cusp of extraordinary growth.

  6.  @BlueZirnitra  why use a poor tool that isn’t as good as it used to be and takes you longer to find what you want and would rather push sponsored links Aha adverts at you than give you want you’re looking for? By continuing to use it you’re just encouraging more of that awful behaviour. It’s your fault. I adapted but not using it and I find exactly what I want far quicker than it I use Google. I used Brave and Reddit and Quora and a few forums, and my kids use Tiktok and discord and they always find stuff quicker on those than Google or YouTube and with no adverts.

  7.  @seowebua  that’s ok though because it’s still getting traffic from the chatbot and chatbots are going to churn out website content like there’s no tomorrow so the number of websites is set to explode.

  8.  @glenyoung1809  yeah exactly, it’s a bit of a joke tbh. They had an entire corporation to get this right, when i was giving tech demos I had me and occasionally one or two others, and I went over everything to ensure it was seamless and bulletproof.

  12.  @seowebua  clicks and views same as all websites. Or maybe you’re trying to sell something. Or maybe you’re altruistic. It doesn’t really matter, with AI tools that can write content and create websites in days if not hours, the numbers of websites is already exploding. Soon you’ll have AI writing websites for other AI to search.
