  3. I disagree. Plenty of soldiers came back from the Second World War suffering from ptsd and trauma, it was just undiagnosed back then, or in really extreme cases they called it shell shock. I spoke to both my grandfathers and their mates and in their later years they all admitted to having suffered afterwards for decades
