If you haven’t seen the series of interviews with him about that period in the 90s you definitely should, because it’s very illuminating and is relevant to what happened since and what is happening today

  13.  @hv3115  is that the freedom and democracy that has banned 14 political opposition parties and arrested or disappeared their leaders, leaving Ukraine a defacto 1 party state without any political opposition at all? The freedom and democracy that replaced a democratically elected government with unelected Nazi fascists in an armed coup for 8 months while they wiped out all political opposition including democratic protests against the armed coup and unelected government in Odessa, Mariupol and Donbas? What about the Ukrainians in Donbas who have been fighting and dying for their freedom and democracy for 8 years that you haven’t cared about at all?

  14.  @JohnMoran  the one good thing about the American public is that half of them probably aren’t even aware of what of going in Ukraine or care, despite their media. That isn’t the case in Europe whose public are lapping up this warmongering propaganda
