@Keon994 maybe that’s just because Canadians are so affable? As a Brit I found Australians really relaxed, compared to the U.K. it hardly ever kicked off and in fact in Australia Poms have got a bad reputation for aggression and violence, particularly in Sydney

@ephemera... yes alcohol and drugs are usually involved as well but higher lead poisoning correlates strongly with higher alcohol and drug consumption too

That’s the oil industry all over. It’s their culture and they’re far worse today then they were then. You could say about the environment and pollution generally, “you will observe with concern how long a useful truth may be known and exist before it is generally received and practiced on”, and the oil industry are doing everything they can to stop us acting upon it
