  1. Kim is not going to give up the nukes. Not in his lifetime. It’s the ONLY leverage he has, and the only thing that’s kept him from simply being assassinated, overthrown, or invaded. Look at all the dictators the US has pressured into disarming and how they end up. Kim is many things but I don’t think he’s an idiot. The superpowers are not exactly known for keeping thier words.
