  1. The IDF murdered 3 of the hostages in cold blood. That caused outrage in Israel. So now they want to be seen making a bigger effort to get hostages out. They know Hamas isn't going to give up all the hostages without a permanent ceasefire. In fact they're counting on it. Because then they can say, well we tried hard to get the hostages out but Hamas didn't let them go, so now you know what we're dealing with so we have to press harder. It completely boggles my mind that BBC and CH4 don't ever mention the leverage the UK have over yankville, and the leverage the UK has over Israel which is far greater than what yankville have.
