@chikara758 I disagree that leaving the EU would be bad for Germany. Indeed, without the burden of the countries you named and the regulation of the EU, Germany would be in a position to recover faster from the economic downturn of CoVID-19 and to do better going forward. The collapse of some other countries left in the EU would result, but is it right to stay in the EU burdening ones self, only to help another country that can't get itself together? The EU became something it was never supposed to be. If it had remained just a trade and economic pact it would have been fine. But growing it beyond that has doomed it to be a failed experiment that has no chance of lasting more than a few more decades. Germany just has to decide whether they want out now or whether they want to let their economy go down with the ship.
