Why do we care? Seriously? Why is this news? If the people of Afghanistan didn't want to be ruled this way, they'd stand up and fight for their freedom. That they don't can only mean one thing. That's as true now as it was 2 years ago. No one in the west is serious about removing the Taliban. Removing them would mean taking out Pakistan first, and they're too useful for other things.
