  1. Biden has a 37% approval rating, with 60% preferring he wasn't president. When DW reports on Erdogan with a 35% approval rating it's rock bottom. When they report on Biden, they say he has lowering but good support. Erdogan is delusional for sure, but my comment isn't really about him. It's about how DW can report on two leaders with incredibly similar approval ratings in such vastly different ways depending on their political stance towards that individual. That kind of mood shift in reporting between the two leaders can only be viewed as an attempt (conscious or not) to sway public opinion. When you're trying to sway opinion you're no longer engaging in journalism. Out of all the public broadcasters in the EU, we only see this kind of consistent behaviour from DW. It's the kind of manipulative behaviour one expects from the likes of RT/Ruptly or CCTV/Global I'd like to see a report on Biden's presidency that casts him in the same negative light as this piece on Erdogan. Or, a piece on Erdogan that casts him in the same postive light as the previous DW coverage on Biden has cast him. Either or, stay consistent in what such low approval ratings mean.
