@markgilrosales6366 You know he's a troll and not from Afghanistan, right?

@fredmiami Learn how to read. No one is blaming a god, because gods don't actually exist. The problem is man made because they believe in storybooks and try to rule a country by based on their interpretation of them. What a waste of life.

One only has to know the founding of Pakistan to understand this whole mess. The Taliban are a Pakistani religious cult, that Pakistan considers to have moderate views. That should put Pakistan into perspective for you. Don't forget, Pakistan have nuclear weapons.

Pretty sure the Taliban are religiously opposed to soap because of how it's made.

@John_Doe448 There hasn't been an artificial halting of the banking system in Afghanistan. The banking system is ticking over same as always. There has been a generous daily limit placed on withdrawals as an economically responsible mitigation against the sustained run on the banks. Afghanistan would be in a dramatically worse situation right now without the withdrawal limit. $20K Afghani per day is a little over 2 months salary. To put it into perspective, the cost of bread is ~8AFN and a bottle of milk is ~13AFN. They can withdrawal $20,000AFN *each day*. And what is causing the run on the banks? Oh yeah, it's the existence of the gun welding maniacs who want to force everyone to talk to their imaginary friend and live as though it's the 11th century. Maniacs who fund themselves through the production and international sale of illicit drugs. Which brings us to the reason the Taliban were happy to go along with the banks wanting to limit withdrawals. By limiting daily withdrawals to 2 months salary, they stop a large exodus from the country. The Afghans need to either actually fight for their country to return to a secular democracy, or stop complaining.

@Research Development Which one is the world's only superpower? Is it invisibility? Who did the Taliban defeat other than some peasants in a field?

@gothenmosph5151 What line in the constitution enshrines sharia?

@aaroniouse Nonsense. OPs statement is very clear, and very accurate.

@aaroniouse No, very true. Very clear. Very accurate. If you don't understand what OP has written that's an issue you're having with comprehension not an issue with OPs words. If the statement was unclear there wouldn't be this comment thread.

@milkyyanks765 Please don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say soap is bad at all. What I said was afaik the Taliban are opposed to soap from a religious perspective because of the ingredients and manufacturing process of soap. One might look to how soap is made, and what isn't allowed under the Qur'an, then compare to see what I'm talking about.
