@bobbydisastrous No, I don't. And unless you know OP personally neither do you. You might suspect or want OP to be joking, but there is nothing in the comment to suggest that's the case. Moreover, there is a large group of people who genuinely believe the movies 2012 and the day after tomorrow are factual.

Calling weather events that aren't driven by climate change, climate change only serves to increase deniers and make long term action harder to achieve. Extreme weather events are rarely indications of climate change. Climate change isn't an event, it isn't something sensational. It's slow shifting* of climate systems over time.

@CoyotePark False. The "tipping point" for AGW, that is the point of no return where it became a runaway process was 26 October 2006. There was an iconic study published on that date as a joint effort between CSIRO and the IPCC which confirmed stopping climate change was no longer a possibility, the best we could do was to slow it down.
