  1. When I first saw her first video presented to me, I thought "who is this silly little woman? And, what can she say that is so important?" Well, after watching a few of her videos, I find her not so silly, and not so little. She is knowledgeable and wise. She talks about big things, important things. That makes her a giant, in my book. Listen to her. She clearly and concisely explains the complexity and contradictions of China. She does it better than anyone I have come across.

  2. It is more than that. When someone is long winded in explaining something, it always means they don't really know it. When someone briefly explains something, it usually means they understand it well. Lei understands her topics very well, IMO.
