That’s what “Don’t Tread On Me” actually looks like. Take notes law and order conservatives. This is what it means to fight actual tyranny, not lick the boot

@D34D 3D It sadly wasn’t that shocking that Conservatives protected the State, police, and property during the BLM riots. They haven’t learned from our own history. The Sons of Liberty were out there dumping a corporations tea, burning down tax collectors houses, feathering and tarring them, throwing literal shit at the Red Coats etc.... I knew then the American right wasn’t actually classical liberal, but the authoritarian religious right. Then again Conservatism has always been in conflict with the radical liberalism of the American Revolution and have been chipping away at it since 1776.

@debbiethompson14 what? You just completely miscomprehended my comment

@D34D 3D I hope people realize what I’m saying is this is an how an actual rebellion against power is. Unlike them that discourage such action and rather protect power

@debbiethompson14 I was mocking them for thinking they are anywhere ideologically consistent with American revolutionaries and radical liberals. They like to wave the Gagsden Flag and say “Don’t Tread On Me”, in other words they think themselves Patriots meanwhile lick the Stats boot and go on about Blue lives and “masks are tyranny”

@alaskanbullworm5500 Indeed. Conservatives were against the American Revolution, then the conservative Federalists sought to diminish radical liberalism and democratic fervors creating a stronger central government (they hated Thomas Paine), and to put the “rabble” in check. Social Conservatism in the South and Traditionalist Conservatism in the North moving rightward ever since the end of the Revolution
