  2.  @NOYOUSHUTUP3.14  look up the Lloyd Grove article called “Barry Goldwater’s Left Turn” I don’t know about Goldwater having a left turn, it just seems to me he was a genuine Constitutional Conservative which lead him to value liberal society as American conservatism.

The neoliberal economic right, the social conservative religious right, and neocon military adventurist (imperialists) in foreign policy.   4.  @DharmaPunk111  I’m not saying I’m conservative or a Goldwater guy. But I can work with actual classical liberal minded folk who believe in limiting the State. My profile pic should tell you much about that. Though to nitpick I wouldn’t even consider Anarchism “ideology”. It wasn’t an ideological philosophy, the indigenous cultures just lived within nature and communal society. Anarchism is a desire to return to stateless forms of social organization within the modern age and beyond.

  5.  @dracorex6876  he was actually a little more nuanced. He supported civil rights and wasn’t pro-segregation. He however believed the Federal government should not be centralizing more and more powers, and the States conceding more. I believe he had a good point because centralized federal power is a huge problem today. From SCOTUS, to the executive’s wars etc…
