  2. As someone mentioned earlier, whatever crimes the USSR did, does not make their nationalist enemies heroes. Stephen Bandera wasn’t a hero, he and his battalion were so intoxicated by nationalism that they allied with Nazis, and aided in Jewish pograms and genocide. They may not have been Nazi ideologues themselves, but they sure did Nazi actions and aid justifying it with desires for national sovereignty. Also the Soviets did the world a favor in destroying Fascism, unfortunately their regime was also authoritarian and not guiltless of crimes against humanity. History sure is fascinating and tragic.
