  1. Another beautiful estate! I hope the city/county/state takes over and turns this into a museum. I had taken a "tour" of the Biltmore estate in Ashville, NC nearly 50 years ago. It was awesome but it was still owned by the family and only the first floor and basement (pool area) was open . However, you were allowed to roam the grounds as well. The US equivalent to Europe's castles.
