There are, and just because they are funded by the industry doesn't mean that they are biased, if the study is conducted through a reputable journal, independent statisticians, scientists etc. have to handle critical data gathering and the funding body cannot have any contact, say or influence on the article written, the researchers get paid before they do the research, and publish regardless of outcome.

  3. The whales are due to whale populations increasing...not because of wind turbines...or did you forget it is only 40 years since whales where almost hunted to extinction?!
