China has 300 5th generation fighters, and 1200+ 4th generation fighters. Being so close to the mainland we can expect them to be able to field a large part of them in their skies. The only uncertainty is the quality of training and equipment, their 5th generation fighter is still unproven, but I doubt it is totally incapable, hard to tell without actual use in conflicts. Until the US or by some miracle Taiwans air defences cripple their fighters (which will take time) they have free reign to unload as many tanks as possible, and with those ramps and drive throughs we could expect a capacity of several hundreds per day if not up to a thousand per setup (if they manage to operate a big enough fleet of ferries to merge in time)

@ At the rate they are producing the 5th gen fighters they soon will start acting as front line fighters. China by their pace of production (if they are in working order without fatal flaws ofc) are on the trajectory to lead in terms of big 5th gen fighter production, US having closed their production lines for 14 years now...only ever made 195 vs the J-20 of which there are approx. 300. And according to what information we have China is increasing production rates annually, having 17 years to refine their production technology and methods. Overall I think a conflict would be hard to judge the out come off, especially as there is bad leadership issues in the US goverment...so US support is not a given.

@Frostbiker Well with Trump in office they might prepare for him pulling out of defence treaties with South Korea and Japan, making many Islands up for grabbing by the Chineese.

@ It is hard to get good numbers on success rate as Russia wont share accurate data 📊 if theyeven gather it

@Alacrity23688 Though they have civilian paint schemes, but I guess in a time of war (The battle in the skies surely have started many hours before this) all approaches of any kind of Chineese vessel will be seen as a hostile move and use of deadly force being permitted.
