The Wellesley looks like two fighters glued together with bomber wings slapped on. I think HMS Iron Duke was a better way of commemorating Arthur.

@neiloflongbeck5705 although Vickers follow up, also using the same geodesic frame, was the Wellington so I think that at least unofficially there was a nod to the Duke.

@neiloflongbeck5705 so it was a coincidence that the name Wellesley, not an English town like the other bombers, was also that of a famous military commander and prime minister? Also it's not Sir for a Duke, sir is for knights and Baronets
