Yeah . . . And they’re probably saying it was a malfunction of the mechanism rather than admitting that their pilot was off his tits on cheap vodka. The only thing we know for certain is, whatever excuse they make, it was way worse than that.

So, that will also mean that Russia will be Communist again? The Soviets will all be reestablished? Of course the Chinese are committed to the world wide spread of Communism, as that’s in their Little Red Book. But the only real worry would be China moving from neutrality to active support of Russia. I mean, that includes East Germany! Hubris only gets worse until it’s snuffed out. Let’s just hope that something like this can switch western support from aiding Ukraine to deciding that Ukraine must win, but fast!?

@ztoob8898 : Do you get the impression that what Putin wants more than, “lebensraum,” and at least as much as the rare Earth minerals (and all that oil and coal which the oil companies say is enough to compete with, if not outstrip, Russia’s supplies, if they could but drill it out) is their people? I get a genuine sense that both China and Russia are looking for shortcuts to get young people injected into their populations, like desperately!

You know, that’s a really good point. It might actually provide the UN with that illusive, “mechanism,” by which they can eject Russia from the UN altogether? The whole lunatic scheme is riddled with paradoxes, beginning with the fact that, if the downfall of the USSR was, “illegal,” then her, “federal,” court has no legal standing by which to make that case. But, if they do proceed and ratify this sham, the only court who’s opinion will matter will be China’s. They will ensure China is on board and going to formally recognise their reinstatement of the Soviet block, or the whole exercise will be pointless anyway. And China will demand that this means the, “whole package,” including Communism! They are ideologically committed to the worldwide spread of communism, which makes no sense for a country with the largest number, per capita, of dollar millionaires in the world, but I don’t doubt they will love seizing the opportunity to teach Russia the dark ways of hypocrisy as a state model. It would help the west to no end, though. As no one would be able to dismiss anything going on with Russia as, “regional spats,” when they are back to openly declaring world domination as their motives, beginning with the re-establishment of their old Soviet borders. The entire world will be on high alert, with western politicians unable to get elected unless they commit to getting the reds out from under our beds. We should all HOPE that Putin is dumb enough to let this go ahead, and laugh as his country breaks up in regional rioting, while the core of Russia becomes China’s official equivalent of Belarus cum North Korea.
