And there is a difference between targeting SOLDIERS in a MILITARY establishment, and targeting any schools with civilian students in, or just indiscriminately targeting anything of value, like hospitals, children’s schools, book publishers and people’s homes. @LK-jl3pc : However, students training to BECOME military personnel are NOT, “military personnel.” They are students, who may choose to do something completely different with their education. They were also among other students who were learning subjects that had NO RELATION to, “military,” anything. That is what we call, “indiscriminate,” targeting, which is a war crime. It is not like the Ukrainians targeting actual military bases, which are also training camps. Those, “students,” are already soldiers and already trained in combat. They are the enemy. So, try to see the difference or be a stooge for Putin.

And, as you say, always ending with that note of humanity that reminds us all what Ukrainians (and we, in our own ways) are fighting for. Not always happy, but usually. @LK-jl3pc : I call people, “Putinistas,” when they spread false or deliberately misleading information that helps Putin. Not for any other reason. And, IF what you say is true, you still don’t GET IT. I studied political history, at a place who’s name (which I will not share here) tells anyone who looks at it that the institution was dedicated to that topic. Yet, my first full time job was working for social services. You don’t bomb students! People have all kinds of reasons for learning various subjects, which might have nothing to do with their careers. A place of learning is staffed by CIVILIANS, from caterers to cleaners, from educators to guest speakers! That, my son, is a far cry from targeting a BARRACKS filled with SOLDIERS on your own OCCUPIED land. Are we learning yet?

He’s nothing more than a little thug on borrowed time, in a country with history of replacing its leaders as often as their socks. Remember Nikita Khrushchev after the Cuban Missile Crisis? After Russia’s biggest defeat of the entire Cold War, he was quietly, “retired,” and Russia went on with business as usual like nothing happened. Big deal in the west, but the people of Russia barely noticed a thing. That’s how they role, kid.

@jimmyjimmy-k5c : No, son. You really can’t. Your comments are misleading and helpful to the enemy. That is a pro-Putin stance, whether you wish it to be or not. What the old Russian regime used to call a, “useful idiot,” is still, “useful,” to the enemy. Learn the difference between legitimate and illegitimate targets by reading the UN and NATO literature. You cannot, “persuade,” a false equivalency to be anything other than false.
