  1. Kwateng is essentially saying, “Liz Truss steered the Tory bus (and the country’s economy) off a cliff. But it’s all Rishi Sunak’s fault because he didn’t fit the bus with a parachute.” 🤣

  2. The Tories who complain the loudest about Rishi’s snap election call are usually the same people who forced him into it by plotting against him. Kwateng’s comments just make me suspicious that he was in one of the many separate groups of plotters. Incidentally, Gerry Anderson’s Thunderbirds was launched on British TV in the year of my birth. As were the BBC’s radio channels, 1, 2, 3 and 4. A pretty good year for Britain, culturally, if I say so myself.
