You spoke my heart. Thank you. It will serve him right if a world leader stands Sunak up and sends an abrupt note saying, “Well, you don’t always attend your appointments, so we didn’t think you would care?” Or just refuses to meet him on the grounds that he may not show up and then might add insult to injury. Buffoonery on top of callousness and contempt is all we ever seem to get from these people now. Every day that passes without them announcing an election date is an act of arrogance. I do disagree on one small point. Sunak may well be better trained and more competent than Truss, but he is not an intelligent man by any measure I recognise. Or any measure that the country could possibly benefit from.
