Oh they, “realise the enormity of their own failing,” alright. The Post Office and co are fighting a desperate rear guard action. One MP who was attempting to fight the PO on this matter early on, told Channel 4 last night that the police should be perusing a criminal investigation. Several of these, “honoured,” PO representatives LIED to the enquiry! They have committed perjury, fraud, conspiracy, perverting the course of justice, tampering with evidence, the list goes on and on! They need to be dealt with in the same manner as the law routinely deals with organised crime! As this was, and is, nothing short of that!

That cannot be all? The judge has already referred several of the PO’s witnesses for criminal investigation, yet nothing has happened so far. They have lied to the inquiry, quite demonstrably! That’s perjury. But we’re looking at a criminal conspiracy, perverting the course of justice, potentially theft, tampering with evidence, withholding evidence, the list is endless. They must be dealt with in the same manner that organised crime is taken on and treated as hostile to the legal system entirely, instead of remaining on the inside to further cover up and obfuscate! This entire situation is insane!

If only they were smart enough to admit to their crimes. The cover up, so far as they’re concerned, is more egregious than the crimes themselves. It can no longer be written off as merely idiotic obtuseness on the part of the Post Office, with a question mark left hanging over the honours system. Now, it is clearly a conspiracy and perjury. Even tampering with evidence and perverting the course of justice now. Last night, an MP was telling Channel 4 that he wants to see a police investigation into this and is frankly staggered by their inaction thus far. The judge has referred several of these goons to the police for investigation, yet NOTHING has happened!
